there is peace before the storm, as the saying goes.
as time slows down to nothingness and being carefree seems so unbounded,
you always believe this is the moment to live for.
worries subside as happiness flourishes,
amusement arising from trivial banter,
and company you could partake forever.
gatherings seem ever so eventful,
with laughter resonating the darkest nights.
conversations which both intrigue and allure.
the reality is,
everything must end.
as tears of joy become tears of agony,
through the extension of bonds.
embraces abound,
for the affliction that encompasses your inner soul,
comforting the fear of deficient contact.
every single breathe,
flutters your heart.
depicting ever so accurately,
the uncertainty of the path that lies ahead.
but one must only move forward,
regardless of reason,
so that achievement and progress can be attained.
in times of adversity, the strong survive and the weak wilt.
all hope is lost, only when one gives up.
its a one way street, and theres no turning back.
time to hit the road.
